Meet Angela
Hey, I’m Angela! I live in beautiful Idaho but Nevada will always be home. I grew up on a ranch where I fell in love with the agricultural life. I remembered as a kid, I’d look at different scenes like the Nevada landscape in the spring or the view from riding drag when gathering cows in the fall, and think that would make a cool picture. Fast forward some years and I’m doing what I love!
One of my favorite things about agriculture are the people. Whether I’m hanging out at a distillery all day or riding around Montana with agronomists or going to a branding, the people are what makes this job enjoyable. I love connecting with people. Oftentimes, at the end of a shoot, I feel like like the people I’ve worked with have become friends.
I love visiting family and friends, exploring new places, sipping yummy tequila, wine tasting, and I could honestly eat sushi every day of the week! You think I’m joking, but I’m not. I know what you’re thinking, ‘ranch girl raised in the desert eats sushi?’…yes, yes I do.
When I’m not working on photography, I’m probably at home gardening or going wine tasting. It’s me and my dog Boise who is an Idaho Shag (don’t judge, I named her before I lived in Idaho). The small moments in life are what make my heart beat: the glowy light of a fall sunset, the satisfaction of cutting flowers from your garden to give to a friend, quality time with friends and family, and spending time with the Lord.
